Obituary

Vivian Kesler Frick 66 beloved spouse of Kenneth V. Frick of Long Pine Road Chapin died Wednesday February 22 2012 at her home. Mrs. Frick was born in Irmo on August 14 1945 a daughter of the late Frank and Vera Ellisor Kesler. Vivian graduated from Chapin High School as the valedictorian of the class of 1963 and later received a B.S. in Business from Winthrop College. She retired as an elementary school teacher from Lexington-Richland School District 5. She attended St. Peter Lutheran Church and she enjoyed reading doing puzzles working with flowers and loved to travel. Mrs. Frick is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years; children Pamela S. Frick of Florence Keith A. Frick of Charlottesville VA and Christie J. Frick of Charleston; grandson Pearson Frick-Mueksch of Florence; sisters Mary Fordham (Marvin) of Clayton NC and Ann Weathersbee (Earle) of Irmo; and special friends Betty Harmon (Tom) of Greenville NC Cyndi Mueksch of Florence and Borden Lee of Charlottesville VA. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister Nelle Schauf and a brother John Buddy Kesler. Funeral services were conducted on Saturday February 25 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church by the Rev. David Tholstrup. Interment was in the church cemetery. The family did receive friends Friday February 24 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church 900 Dreher Island Road Chapin SC 29036.
