W. Don Conger 53 of 153 Indian Creek Point died Saturday August 7 2004. Mr. Conger was born on January 1 1951 in Spartanburg a son of Robert D. and Catherine Smith Conger. He was an employee of Newberry County and was a member of Consolidated 5 Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Conger is survived by his parents of Prosperity; his wife Donna Black Conger of the home; two daughters Connie Conger of Saluda and Shannon Thomas of Saluda; a son Tait Perry of Saluda; and two brothers Johnny Conger and Ronald Conger both of Prosperity. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. Funeral services for Don Conger will be conducted at 12 Noon Thursday at the Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev.
