William "Bill" Croker Dorroh Jr., age 71 passed away January 15,2022 at Springfield Place in Newberry. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Croker Dorroh Sr. (Lalla Johnston). Bill was a lifelong resident of Newberry County and was owner and operator of Dorroh's Grocery on Island Ford Road in Silverstreet. He is survived by one sister, Rebecca Dorroh Pierce (Paiton) of Greenville, SC and two nieces, Allison Pierce Brasseaux (Barry) of Ellicott City, MD and Kathryn Pierce Kiser (Mitch) of Irmo, SC. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Dustin Dorroh (Cherokee) of Silverstreet, SC and Brandi Dorroh (Charles) of Lexington, SC; and also by his great grandchildren Walker, Emma, Josie, Oliver and Cooper. Visitation will take place at Whitaker Funeral Home in Newberry, Tuesday, January 18, 5:00-7:00 pm. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, January 19, 2:00 PM at Smyrna Presbyterian Church Cemetery by the Rev. Dan Ratchford.
