William E. Finkernagel Jr. 82 of 220 Dawn Island Trail Chapin died Thursday March 1 2012 at his residence. Mr. Finkernagel was born in New York N.Y. a son of the late William E. and Freida Bansemer Finkernagel. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War a retired employee for A.T. & T. and he was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. He liked to fish and travel but his favorite hobby was boating. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Alice Heenan Finkernagel; his children Carolanne (Steve) Bialkoski of Hudson FL Allison Finkernagel of Annapolis MD Paul (Kathy) Finkernagel of Clinton NJ Mark (Donna) Finkernagel of Chapin and Scott (Denise) Finkernagel of Pennington NJ; a daughter-in-law Susan Finkernagel of St. Augustine FL; grandchildren Scott Craig and Kiersten Bialkoski and Jeffery Kyle Taylor Luke Hannah Katrina Erica and Christopher Finkernagel; and great grandchildren Cale Zaborowicz and Jace and Livia Bialkoski. He was predeceased by a son William E. Finkernagel III; and a brother Robert Finkernagel. Rosary was recited and visitation was held Monday March 5th at 10:00am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Chapin. The Funeral Mass was on Monday March 5th at 11:30am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church by Father Andrew J. Vollkommer.
