Mr. William Keith "Bill" Hester age 50 husband of Jamie B. Hester passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in the evening of April 9th at his home on Lake Murray.Bill was born in Columbia the son of Nancy Snipes Hester and Theron E. "Herb" Hester Jr. He attended the Irmo SC area schools and Midlands Technical College. He was employed in the landscaping field and was an avocational horticulturist of note keeping his neighbors and friends supplied with his excellent tomatoes. Surviving in addition to his wife is his son Drake brother Terry parents T.E. "Herb" Hester Jr. of Columbia and Nancy Hester of Garden City Beach SC numerous aunts uncles cousins friends and his faithful canine companion Daisy.Funeral services will be conducted Monday April 13 at 1:00 PM by the Rev. Randall Derrick at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Chapin SC. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:30 Monday prior to the service at Whitaker Funeral Home Chapin. Pallbearers will be Randy Causey Josh Causey Glenn Causey Sr. Rob Barkalow John Keeler Alan Mayo and Billy Boswell.
